The incident happened at around 3:45 p.m. in the 37300 block of Pourroy Road near Auld Road, said the California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Fire Department.

According to reports, a 14-year-old French Valley girl rode her bike in an unknown direction. Then, a Dodge Ram pickup hit her, pushing her to the pavement.

After the crash, the driver pulled over and waited for the authorities to arrive.
