Semi-truck Collision in Lindale Kills Khaled Al Masalmah of Fort Worth
Lindale, TX (June 7, 2023) – On Tuesday, Alaa Fares, 23, of Wylie, Mohammad Mahasneh, 34 of Wylie, and Mohammad Alachmouti, 21, of Plano, were injured in an Interstate 20 fatal collision.
The traffic collision happened at about 8 p.m. involving a big rig and a flipped GMC Sierra truck killing its driver Khaled Al Masalmah, 20, of Fort Worth.
The Texas DPS said both of the vehicles were westbound on I-20 when the GMC Sierra rear-ended the semi-truck on the left side. The GMC Sierra lost control and rolled over.
Khaled Al Masalmah was transported to UT Health in Tyler where he was declared dead. His passengers, Fares, Mahasneh, and Alachmouti, sustained injuries.
Shaludzko Bahdan, 39, of Boco Ratan, Florida, the semi-truck driver did not sustain injuries in the Interstate 20 fatal collision.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the cause of the traffic collision in Lindale.
