ADELANTO, CA – 2 Killed in Highway 395 Head-On Crash Near Shadow Mountain Road

2 Die in Adelanto Two-Car Wreck

 
ADELANTO, CA (January 14, 2019) – Two people were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 395 near Shadow Mountain Road Friday night.
 
The crash happened around 10:35 p.m. just south of Shadow Mountain Road.
 
The collision drew the attention of the San Bernardino County Fire, California Highway Patrol and AMR, who all found two cars with significant front-end damage.
 
One person from each car was pronounced dead at the scene and another was airlifted to a trauma center. It is not clear how the Cadillac Xt5 SUV and white Toyota Corolla collided, but a caller did say that one of the involved drivers was driving recklessly before the wreck and was seen passing over the solid double yellow lines.
 
Authorities are investigating this crash to determine the cause and circumstances.
