71-Year-Old Norbanoo Dhanani Killed in Corbin Avenue Crash [Porter Ranch, CA]

Porter Ranch, CA (August 09, 2021) – On July 30, 71-year-old Norbanoo Dhanani lost her life in a two-vehicle crash on Corbin Avenue.

The accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection with Mason Avenue.

A couple was on their way to the mosque to pray when a driver collided into them.

Rescuers rushed Dhanani to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries three hours after the accident, while Dhanani’s husband survived the incident. 

The Los Angeles Police Department say a 16-year-old was westbound on Corbin Avenue when he turned right on northbound Mason Avenue and swerved onto the southbound lane.

As a result, teenager collided with Dhanani’s vehicle and injured her.

The teenage driver stayed at the scene after the accident. Officers said he did not appear to be under the influence and was released to his parents.
