Two Hospitalized after a Solo-Vehicle Crash on State Route 347 in Maricopa

Maricopa, AZ (July 14, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a  7-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after a crash on State Route 347 near the Gila River overpass.

The crash in Maricopa happened at around  5:30 p.m. on July 12.

Witnesses reported seeing the driver of the white Nissan driving erratically before the crash. The white Nissan eventually rolled off the highway, ejecting the girl.

EMS then took both the driver and the young girl to an area hospital in serious condition.

No other information is released. DPS continues to further investigate the crash.
