7 Hospitalized after Crest Car Accident on Dehesa Road

 
CREST, CA (November 18, 2019) – Seven people sustained injuries in a car accident on Dehesa Road on November 17.
 
The incident involving a Sycuan Casino bus and a small car happened at about 12:15 p.m. on Dehesa Road near Willow Glen Drive in East County San Diego. The crash trapped one person in the smaller vehicle but emergency responders helped him to safety.
 
The car driver sustained major injuries and is expected to survive. According to the Heartland Fire Department, responders took six other people to the hospital.
 
The crash left the bus with front end damage and scattered debris on the roadway. Authorities dispatched tow trucks to help with the vehicles’ removal.
 
As a result of the crash, the traffic stalled. It’s still unclear whether drugs or alcohol are factors in the collision.
