63-Year-Old Man Killed in 132nd Avenue SE Pedestrian Crash [Kent, WA]

Kent, WA (April 17, 2024) – A 63-year-old man sustained fatal injuries following a 132nd Avenue SE pedestrian crash early Tuesday morning.

Kent Police officers responded at 4:06 a.m. to the traffic accident on SE 278th Street.

The 58-year-old female driver, also from Kent, told the officers she saw the pedestrian just seconds before striking him. She said she was unable to stop in time. 

Sadly, the man had already died when the officers arrived.

Kent Police officers said the driver fully cooperated with the investigation. They also confirmed that intoxication does not appear to have played a role in the crash.
