Former Chico Mayor Randall Stone Injured Accident near Warner Street [Chico, CA]

Chico, CA (April 30, 2024) – Former City of Chico Mayor Randall Stone sustained injuries following an accident near Warner Street Saturday night.

The traffic accident happened around 5:30 p.m. near Ivy Street.

Investigators said Stone was crossing the street when he was hit by 29-year-old Lexy Cosper of Chico.

Officers said Cosper cooperated with the investigation and they determined she was under the influence of alcohol. They arrested and booked her into the Butte County Jail for DUI causing injury and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol over .08%.
