44-Year-Old Woman Dies in Pomelo Drive DUI Accident [Vista, CA]

Vista, CA (December 11, 2021) – On Thursday, a 44-year-old female pedestrian lost her life in a Pomelo Drive DUI accident.

The officers received the crash report at around 9:34 p.m. in the 300 block area.

Investigators said the victim was walking on the roadway when a northbound tan Hyundai Elantra struck her.

Right away, the paramedics rushed the victim to Palomar Medical Center where she later died.

Moreover, the Hyundai driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.

Meanwhile, the authorities believe the female pedestrian was under the influence of alcohol. They do not suspect impairment on the Hyundai driver.
