Man Suffers Serious Injuries after Scooter Crash near Belmont Park

 
MISSION BEACH, CA (March 30, 2019) – A man suffered serious injuries Saturday evening following a scooter accident on Oceanfront Walk. Authorities did not disclose the identity of the 39-year-old victim.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened near Belmont Park, at about 10:00 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, the rider veered to his right and fell off his scooter.
 
Emergency responders transported the victim to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Further updates on his current condition were not provided.
