Odessa Residents Killed in Ector County Head-On Collision
Ector County, TX (October 12, 2023) – 33-year-old Maxton Winkler and 44-year-old David Medrano, both from Odessa, were killed following a Loop 338 collision on October 10.
Investigating officers said a 2019 Ford F-250 driven by Medrano was northbound on Loop 338. At the same time, a 2021 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Winkler was southbound on the same highway.
Medrano drove into the southbound lane and collided with Winkler’s vehicle.
Responding officers declared David Medrano and Maxton Winkler deceased at the scene of the accident.
Officers are still investigating this Texas fatal collision.
