LA JOLLA, CA (May 13, 2021) – Wednesday morning, three people suffered injuries in an auto accident on Girard Avenue near Pearl Street.
 
The authorities received a report of the crash just after 9:50 a.m. on Girard Avenue near Pearl Street. According to reports, an SUV crashed into the back of Harry’s Coffee Shop.
 
As a result, three people sustained injuries. Two of them required hospitalization. Meanwhile, the other one refused transportation to the hospital.
 
The authorities confirmed that a Lexus SUV crashed its front into the restaurant’s rear. The crash happened near a backdoor entrance from a parking lot behind the coffee shop.
 
Also, the incident led to a gas leak on the property. Thus, San Diego Gas & Electric crew asked businesses on both sides of the coffee shop to evacuate briefly.
