PALM DESERT, CA (June 12, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, three people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Washington Street and Avenue 42.
 
According to the California Fire, the incident happened at around 12:17 a.m. on Washington Street and Avenue 42.
 
Reports revealed that a sedan and a white truck collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the truck to roll over and struck a light signal box.
 
Moreover, responders extricated and transported two occupants of the sedan to a hospital with major injuries. Also, the truck driver sustained minor injuries in the incident.
 
Furthermore, the traffic signal in the intersection remained off as of this time.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
