Suspected DUI Collision on Limonite Avenue Injures 3 People in Jurupa Valley

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 08, 2019) — Three people sustained injuries in an alleged DUI collision on Limonite Avenue at Pedley Road Friday evening, August 02.
 
The incident occurred at about 9:47 p.m. A suspected drunk driver driving eastbound on Limonite Avenue plowed through a road closure and subsequently crashed into a marked sheriff’s patrol vehicle.
 
A pedestrian, the alleged DUI driver, and the sheriff’s volunteer all suffered injuries as a result.
 
First responders took the pedestrian to an area hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. On the other hand, the Sheriff’s Department volunteer sustained minor injuries.
 
The suspected female DUI driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She will face felony DUI charges once released from the hospital.
