2 Killed in DUI Collision on Progressive Road [Wapato, WA]

Wapato, WA (March 29, 2022) On Tuesday, a motorist was injured and 2 others were killed in a DUI collision on Progressive Road.

Officials say that the fatal crash between a red pickup truck and a car happened around 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of Progressive and South Wapato roads.

Reports say that an eastbound red Mustang didn’t stop at a stop sign collided with a southbound Dodge pickup.

Rescuers say that both occupants of the Mustang were dead at the scene, one getting ejected from the car.

Moreover, both fatalities were members of the Yakama Nation.

Meanwhile, rescuers took the Dodge driver to a hospital for the injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities are investigating the crash and said that the driver of the Mustang has been driving impaired.
