2 Dead in Wickenburg Car Crash

 
WICKENBURG, AZ (October 2, 2019) – Two people died in a car crash on Highway 93 on October 1.
 
DPS revealed that the crash occurred at about 5:15 a.m. at milepost 172, north of Highway 71. The two-vehicle crash shut down both directions of Highway 93, north of Wickenburg.
 
According to DPS, a southbound semi-truck on Highway 93 drove across the center median and collided into a UPS semi-truck head-on.
 
The drivers both died at the scene. However, police did not provide details regarding their identities at this time.
 
The incident caused significant damage to the trucks.
 
The road opened back up shortly after the accident. However, authorities are still investigating the collision at this time.
