Injuries Reported in San Francisco Auto Accident on Cortland Street and Mission Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 27, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, two people suffered injuries in a carjack crash on Cortland Street and Mission Street.
The incident on Cortland Street and Mission Street involved a suspect who carjacked a Muni bus.
As the bus traveled on Cortland Street, the suspect assaulted the driver and then drove the bus away.
Officers noted that no one rode the bus except the driver. Then, the driver managed to get off the bus before the suspect took off.
Also, the authorities said that the suspect hit around ten vehicles before the bus ended up at 18th and Guerrero Streets.
Eventually, officers arrested the suspect but they haven’t released the person’s identity.
Also, responders transported the suspect and the driver of another car to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police urged witnesses to contact them.
