Carmichael Bicycle Accident Kills Sacramento Man

 
Carmichael, CA (May 28, 2021) – On Thursday, a 19-year-old bicyclist from Sacramento died in Manzanita Avenue crash.
 
The fatal accident happened at around 8 p.m. at the Moldrow Drive intersection.
 
Officers said the victim crashed his bicycle off the side of the road and into a tree. Witnesses said he was holding onto the back of a pickup truck and then let go, sending him off at around 40 mph.
 
Unfortunately, he died at the accident scene.
 
The authorities said it’s unclear what happened to the pickup truck that was involved in the accident.
 
Meanwhile, investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the fatal crash.
