LOS ANGELES, CA (May 19, 2022) – Wednesday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on South Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles.
 
The incident happened at 9:48 p.m. in the 300 block of South Figueroa Street.
 
According to Officer Cruz of the LA Police Department, the incident does not appear to be a hit-and-run.
 
Responders found a white or gray small-to-midsize SUV near the scene with its blinkers on and apparent damage to the car’s hood.
 
At this time, the events that have led up to the crash remain unclear. Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the victim due to pending family notification.
