SACRAMENTO, CA (April 25, 2022) – Sunday morning, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 5 and Florin Road.
 
The crash occurred at about 12:10 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5, north of Florin Road.
 
According to reports, a grey Acura traveled in the first lane at about 65 mph. Then, they noticed something moving from the second lane into the first lane. However, it was too late to react.
 
The Acura hit the pedestrian and left that person with fatal injuries. At this time, the authorities haven’t identified the pedestrian.
 
Meanwhile, authorities do not believe that impairment played a role in the crash.
