Injuries Reported in Santa Clarita Rollover Accident on 14 Freeway and Golden Valley Road

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (October 31, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in a traffic crash on 14 Freeway and Golden Valley Road.
 
The incident happened at about 12:37 p.m. on 14 Freeway and Golden Valley Road.
 
According to reports, the incident caused a large response from first responders.
 
Apparently, an expanded traffic crash with a rollover vehicle occurred on the southbound 14 Freeway.
 
“The vehicle was reported to be overturned at the time of the call,” said Ed Pickett with the Los Angeles Fire Department. “Two paramedic units were requested.”
 
Meanwhile, the preliminary reports revealed that some persons might be trapped in the crash.
 
By 1:10 p.m., responders took one person to the hospital with trauma injuries. However, the authorities haven’t clarified the exact number of patients injured in the crash. Also, the extent of injuries remains unknown.
 
Upon the arrival of the first responders, they said that one passenger laid own on the embankment next to the overturned vehicle. That same vehicle reportedly struck a light pole.
 
Due to the exposed wires from the light pole, officials blocked the traffic.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
