1 Killed in Riverside Motorcycle Accident on 91 Freeway near Van Buren Boulevard
RIVERSIDE, CA (June 22, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a person died in a motorcycle crash on 91 Freeway near Van Buren Boulevard.
According to Sgt. Steven Rusk, the incident happened at around 7:40 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on westbound 91 Freeway, east of Van Buren Boulevard.
Reports revealed that a motorcycle traveled on the white lines between the HOV and No. 1 lanes. Then, its handlebar might have clipped a Jeep Latitude. As a result, the motorcycle lost control and went down the HOV lane. Eventually, an RTA commuter bus struck the motorcycle.
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
