1 Hurt in Shasta County Auto Accident on Interstate 5 near Salt Creek Road
SHASTA COUNTY, CA (September 30, 2021) – Wednesday night, a wrong-way driver suffered injuries in a crash on Interstate 5 near Salt Creek Road.
The incident happened at about 8:20 p.m. on Interstate 5 near Salt Creek Road.
According to reports, a driver heading south drove in the northbound lane. Then, the driver crashed into a guardrail near Salt Creek Road.
As a result, the driver suffered major injuries and responders took the person to Mercy Medical.
Meanwhile, the roads have since reopened.
Also, the CHP clarified that they don’t believe that DUI played a role in the crash.
