Early Morning 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 2 in Wrightwood Sends One to Hospital
WRIGHTWOOD, CA (February 15, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Wrightwood.
The crash happened around 4:52 a.m. on Highway 2 at Scrub Oak Drive.
The vehicles involved were not described and details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available. But one patient was taken to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Both involved vehicles were towed away from the wreckage.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were shut down during the rescue and clearing operations.
The events that led up to the collision is still under investigation.
