Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Ventura Hit-and-Run Crash
VENTURA, CA (May 20, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries following Thursday’s hit-and-run accident at East Thompson Boulevard and South Kalorama Street.
According to the Ventura Police Department, officers arrived around 11 p.m. to find an unresponsive woman in the roadway. Witnesses were treating the woman before paramedics took over.
Reports say the unidentified woman may not survive her injuries.
Authorities at the scene determined that she had been crossing East Thompson Boulevard when a westbound vehicle struck her and fled the scene.
Her identity has yet to be released by authorities.
