1 Dead in Vancouver Pedestrian Accident on 5 Freeway

 
VANCOUVER, WA (November 5, 2019) – A woman died after a semi-truck hit her on 5 Freeway North on November 3.
 
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred on 5 Freeway north near 93rd Street just after 8:00 p.m.
 
According to troopers, as the woman walked into the middle of the road, the semi struck her. She reportedly succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
 
However, the 59-year-old Portland male driver did not receive any charges. He also did not suffer any injury.

Police did not provide any additional information at this time. However, an investigation is ongoing.
