Woman Struck and Dragged by Truck in Accident on North Sullivan Road
Spokane Valley, WA (January 23, 2021) – On Friday, a woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on North Sullivan Road.
The road accident took place at about 10 a.m. in the 500 Block area wherein the woman was struck and dragged by a truck.
Immediately, paramedics responded to the scene and treated the woman’s serious injuries before they took her to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the authorities tracked the involved driver.
The driver said he did not know he struck the woman. He also said he was having mechanical problems with the truck.
Meanwhile, officers said impairment was not a factor in the accident. However, the driver could still felony charges in the future.
The authorities closed North Sullivan Road for about a half-block between Broadway Avenue and Valleyway Avenue. They continue to investigate the crash.
