Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on El Toro Road [Lake Forest, CA]

1 Dead after Two Vehicles Collide near Aliso Park Drive

 
LAKE FOREST, CA (May 13, 2019) – Investigators are looking for witnesses after a two-vehicle collision on El Toro Road ended up as a fatality. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at about 12:30 PM. A black 1991 Mazda Protégé attempted to make a left turn onto Aliso Park Drive when a southbound red 2003 Hyundai Elantra struck it.
 
Emergency responders transported all injured victims to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, a woman succumbed to her injuries hours after the collision.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the fatal crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the OCSD Traffic Bureau at (949) 425-1860, option 5. Further details will be released once they become available.
