PHOENIX, AZ (October 17, 2021) – Friday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash near 26th Street and McDowell Road.
The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. near 26th Street and McDowell Road. According to reports, an eastbound vehicle struck a woman as she crossed the street.
Responders took her to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
Also, the officials do not believe that impairment played a role in the crash.
