MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (April 16, 2019) – A woman died Saturday night following a pedestrian accident on El Camino Real at Palo Alto Avenue.
 
Around 8:20 p.m., police responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit, police spokeswoman Katie Nelson said.
 
At the scene, firefighters rendered life-saving attempts to resuscitate the victim. However, efforts fell short and the woman died shortly after.
 
The details of the crash remain unclear at this point, but the female driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the cause and circumstances.
