Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Several Vehicles on 110 Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 24, 2019) – An unidentified woman was killed in a pedestrian crash Saturday morning on 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.
 
The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. on northbound 110 Freeway near Temple Street.
 
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the site after receiving reports of a female pedestrian that was struck by several vehicles.
 
Upon arrival, they located a woman in her 30s with fatal injuries and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
It is unknown if the drivers that struck the victim remained or fled after the crash.
 
CHP officials issued a SigAlert in the area, closing the Eighth Street on-ramp to the northbound 110 Freeway for several hours while they investigated the incident.
