Pedestrian Accident Turns Deadly in North Highlands

 
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (November 22, 2019) — A woman died during Thursday’s pedestrian accident on Roseville Road near Tacomic Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150 traveling southbound struck a female transient who purportedly stepped into its path of travel.
 
The driver stopped immediately and contacted 911. However, the unidentified pedestrian died minutes after the collision. Investigators have yet to confirm the liabilities of the accident, but CHP said the driver is cooperating with investigators.
 
Police did not provide any other information regarding the accident at this time. However, an investigation is ongoing.
