1 Dead in Lancaster Auto Accident on Division Street and Lancaster Boulevard

LANCASTER, CA (August 4, 2024) – Saturday morning, a woman died in a brutal car crash on Division Street and Lancaster Boulevard.

The incident occurred at around 3:15 a.m. on Division Street and Lancaster Boulevard, said Detective Jorge Diaz of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station.

According to reports, a silver sedan was driving north on Division Street when it veered off the roadway and struck a pole at Lancaster Boulevard, Diaz added.

As a result, the female passenger was declared dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the driver to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the sheriff’s Lancaster station at 661-948-8466.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
