Pedestrian Hit, Injured by Car in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 9, 2019)—A pedestrian accident on Logan Avenue near the 805 Freeway left a woman with serious injuries Thursday.
According to San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims, the incident befell around 6:00 p.m. in the 4600 block of Logan Avenue.
A 65-year-old man in a 2018 Subaru Outback struck the woman after she ran south across Logan Avenue.
Authorities learned that the eastbound Subaru struck the woman outside of a crosswalk. Shortly after, paramedics transported her to a local hospital for a fractured pelvis and facial injuries.
The Subaru driver stayed at the scene, and police ruled out impairment as a possible factor of the crash.
