Woman Critical after DUI Hit-And-Run Crash on Oak Park Drive in Magalia

Magalia, CA (March 15, 2022) – Monday night, a woman sustained severe injuries in a DUI hit-and-run crash on Oak Park Drive.

Subsequently, police arrested 29-year-old Kayla McCally of Westwood on Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting great bodily injury during the commission of a felony, felony hit and run, and DUI.

The crash in Magalia happened at around 10:21 p.m. on March 14.

CHP said the victim was hit by a vehicle on a property on Oak Park Drive. She is currently in critical condition.

Police determined that McCally got into the woman’s vehicle and hit the woman before crashing into a tree then taking off on foot after the crash.
