Pedestrian Hit and Seriously Hurt by SUV while Crossing Street in Midway District
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 28, 2019) – A woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Pacific Coast Highway, Friday evening.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened at about 8:45 PM. The woman attempted to cross a busy street diagonally from east to west when a 2007 Chevy Tahoe sideswiped her.
The 58-year-old victim suffered serious fractures of her legs. Emergency responders rushed her to a hospital, where she will undergo surgery. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old woman driving the Chevy remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
