Woman Rescued From Car-Tractor-Trailer Crash, Vehicle Plunging off San Diego River
San Diego, CA (March 12, 2021) – On Wednesday, good samaritans rescued a woman in a car-tractor-trailer crash on State Route 52.
The accident happened at about 6:25 a.m. east of Mast Boulevard.
Apparently, the woman’s car plunged about 50 to 60 feet off a bridge along state Route 52, authorities said.
The vehicle which had a tire blown-out ended up in the San Diego riverbed.
Luckily, three motorists spotted the car lying on its side in the riverbed and went to help her.
The seatbelt stuck and locked up on her while her legs were kind of in a weird position.
Someone used a metal bar to smash the vehicle’s window.
Later on, the woman was able to get out of her car and meet the paramedics.
Rescuers took the woman to a local hospital.
Always be a defensive driver.
