1 Hospitalized in Leemore Auto Accident on Grangeville Boulevard
LEEMORE, CA (June 30, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a woman sustained injuries in an ATV crash on Grangeville Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on eastbound Grangeville Boulevard.
Reports revealed that an eastbound semi-truck hit an ATV as it attempted to make a U-turn without looking both ways. The truck driver attempted to avoid collision by swerving to the left but to no avail, CHP Officer Gary Giles said.
Furthermore, the truck driver claimed that the female driver of the ATV appeared to be checking the mail. Then, all of the sudden, the ATV was making a U-turn to return to the road.
Moreover, responders transported the 25-year-old woman driving the ATV to Adventist Health in Hanford in critical condition.
