1 Hospitalized after Burien Car Accident
BURIEN, WA (August 7, 2019) – A woman sustained injuries in a car accident on Des Moines Memorial Drive on August 6.
The SUV reportedly collided into a utility pole in the 13800 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive South about 12:30 a.m. The deputies and medics came to the scene after receiving reports of a serious collision.
According to the King County sheriff’s officials, the SUV caught fire after the collision but the firefighters extinguished the flames.
Meanwhile, medics administered a CPR to revive the woman, then transported her to the hospital.
Authorities ruled out alcohol as a factor in the collision. Police believe that the driver possibly suffered a medical emergency before crashing into the pole.
