Woman Hurt in Pedestrian Accident in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 4, 2019) – A 91-year-old woman suffered serious injuries Tuesday when an SUV driver struck her at 37th Avenue and Fulton Street.
Around 9:03 p.m., officers responded to the scene in San Francisco’s Richmond District.
According to Sgt. Michael Andraychak, a San Francisco police spokesman, a woman driving westbound in a white Chevy Equinox struck the elder as the 91-year-old crossed Fulton Street.
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police officers.
In their preliminary investigation, police learned that impairment did not play a factor.
