Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 1, 2019) – A woman suffered serious injuries in Tuesday’s pedestrian accident on Harbor Drive near South 28th Street.
According to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle, the incident happened around 12:15 a.m.
Reports say a 60-year-old man driving a 2006 Volkswagen sedan eastbound on Harbor Drive struck the woman as she attempted to cross Harbor Drive northbound.
As a result of the crash, paramedics brought the 26-year-old to a hospital with a fractured pelvis.
Meanwhile, officers questioned the driver and subsequently ruled out impairment as a possible factor in the accident. However, an investigation of this case is underway.
