Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Driver in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (April 30, 2019) – A woman died Sunday night following a pedestrian accident on Alessandro Boulevard and Day Street.
 
According to the department, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, who believe impairment did not play a role in the driver’s part. However, more investigation concerning the details is underway.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is unsure how the 11 p.m. crash happened. Whether the woman was in a crosswalk or who had the right of way is unclear at this point.
 
As of Monday, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office had yet to confirm the fatal victim’s identity.
