Stockton, CA (October 30, 2020) – On Thursday, a female driver suffered fatal injuries from a head-on crash on Interstate 5.
 
The tragic incident took place after 10 p.m. near Peltier Road.
 
Apparently, a car was traveling northbound on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 when it struck a big rig head-on.
 
The authorities pronounced the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, dead at the scene.
 
The big rig driver, on the other hand, was not hurt.
 
Meanwhile, it is still unknown why the vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction.
