One Killed, One Injured in Vehicle Crash on Avenue I

 
Lancaster, CA (January 21, 2021) – On Wednesday, a female driver lost her life in a deadly two-vehicle crash on Avenue I.
 
The tragic crash happened at around 1 p.m. at 7th Street East.
 
A preliminary investigation confirmed a male adult driving a Nissan Altima westbound on Avenue I.
 
At the same time, a female adult driver on a Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on 7th Street East.
 
The Camry made a left turn onto Avenue I, from 7th Street East.
 
As a result, the two vehicles crashed in the intersection causing severe damage to both vehicles.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics provide aid. However, the authorities pronounced the female driver dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the officers withheld the deceased’s name pending next of kin notification.
 
On the other hand, rescuers took the Nissan Altima’s male driver to Antelope Valley Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities said he is expected to survive. according to the news release.
