Pedestrian Fatally Struck on River Avenue
Long Beach, CA (August 04, 2022) – On Wednesday, a female pedestrian dies after an accident on Pacific Coast Highway.
The traffic accident took place at about 10 p.m. on Friday at River Avenue.
According to the investigators, a 2005 Dodge Durango driven by a Compton man was westbound on the highway. At the same time, the female pedestrian was southbound and was crossing the road out of a crosswalk.
Unfortunately, the vehicle struck the pedestrian.
Responding officers rushed the victim to a hospital where she died Wednesday.
The driver, on the other hand, remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.
