Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Car in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (March 11, 2019) – A woman died Saturday night following a pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard near Slater Avenue.
According to a Huntington Beach police officer, a silver 2014 Nissan Versa heading northbound on a green light struck the female pedestrian as she crossed outside of a marked crosswalk.
The woman died as a result of the 10:45 p.m. crash from significant trauma to her head and body. Her identity will be released once the next of kin has been notified. Yet according to reports, she was around 50 to 60 years old.
As for the 47-year-old Cypress woman driving the Nissan, she remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.
