1 Killed in Menifee Hit-and-Run Accident on 27300 Block of Highway 74
MENIFEE, CA (March 7, 2021) – On Friday night, a woman died in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on 27300 Block of Highway 74.
According to Menifee police, authorities responded to an incident at around 11:30 p.m. It happened in the 27300 block of Highway 74.
Furthermore, responders found an unresponsive woman lying on the road at the scene. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Moreover, the suspect vehicle, best described as a large framed full-sized Dodge Ram 4500 pickup truck, was believed to have sustained front driver side area damage.
Also, authorities believe that the victim walked outside a marked crosswalk when the vehicle struck her, Menifee police Lt. Abigail Valle said.
The incident is under active investigation.
