PHOENIX, AZ (October 26, 2022) – Monday night, a woman died in a multi-vehicle crash near 45th Avenue and Thomas Road.
The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. near 45th Avenue and Thomas Road.
According to reports, a vehicle attempting to make a left turn collided with a pickup truck. Then, the force of the crash pushed the pickup into the oncoming traffic. Then, it struck an SUV which side-swiped another vehicle in the process.
Moreover, officers confirmed that a female occupant of the first vehicle died at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the first vehicle to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Also, the driver showed signs of intoxication, officers added.
