5 Hurt in Victorville Two-Car Wreck
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 18, 2019) – Five people including two children were injured Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash along Amargosa Road near Luna Road.
The traffic collision was reported at 4:02 p.m. between Luna and Dos Palmas roads.
Sheriff’s officials determined that a white Nissan vehicle was heading northbound on Amargosa Road when the driver lost control and crossed into the westbound lanes, where it was T-boned by a blue Acura sedan.
Two children, ages 5 and 2, were pulled from the white sedan by a Good Samaritan by the name of David Kintzer II.
The 2-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and the 5-year-old and the two adults in the white Nissan were brought to a trauma center by a ground ambulance. The driver of the Acura also sustained injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
The liabilities of this crash are still under investigation.
