1 Killed in I-35 Rear-End Collision
Temple, TX (March 8, 2024) – 72-year-old Victoria Beluso Aranas of Vicksburg, Mississippi, was killed following an Interstate 35 collision Thursday morning.
The authorities responded around 8 a.m. to the northbound freeway near Exit #306.
Investigators said Aranas’s vehicle was stopped in the middle lane of the freeway due to mechanical issues.
However, Aranas’s vehicle was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler.
Troopers diverted traffic off the interstate for several hours and urged the public to use Exits #304 or #305 to exit the freeway.
